Lunar New Year 2018

The 2018 Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year or Spring Festival) begins on 16 February, bringing with it vibrant hues of red and gold, music, dancing, culture, and festivities.

There are many exciting Lunar New Year activities across Australia and New Zealand, each location bringing its own flavor to the festival. Revellers can expect a variety of performances including the Chinese Lion Dance, Martial Arts displays, Traditional folk music accompanied by firecrackers and food.

This year, the vibrant festival celebrates the year of the Dog, be sure to head down to see your local festival.
